Hanita Lenses Awarded by the Israel-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Hanita Lenses is proud to announce that we have been recognized by the Israel-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIIF) as one of three Israeli companies making a significant contribution to commercial relations between Israel and France.

The award was presented at a special reception held in Tel Aviv. When introducing Hanita Lenses, Stéphanie Benmoussa-Molkhou, Vice President of the CCIIF, praised the company for not only enduring challenging times, but thriving. She later described Hanita as “a pure example of the Israeli resilience and strength.”

Accepting the award, our CEO Yoram Gonen reflected on Hanita’s journey, highlighting the company’s growth and the crucial role of the French market, which is today our fastest-growing market worldwide. He emphasized a major milestone: the integration of our French distributor as a full-fledged partner, strengthening our presence in France and contributing to our global expansion.

Gonen also spoke about the adversities Hanita has faced over the past year and a half, especially as the closest manufacturing facility to Israel’s northern border. He described the immense efforts involved in relocating operations to alternative facilities, qualifying them, and securing the necessary regulatory approvals — a process made possible by the unwavering dedication of the entire Hanita team.

We are deeply grateful to the CCIIF for this recognition, and to all our partners and customers in France and around the world who continue to support our mission of advancing ophthalmic solutions for cataract surgery.
